Hi mother of flower girl 2 (MFG2),
Just wanted to update you that we have abandoned the tiara idea for the girls. You are free to choose whatever "do" for flower girl 2 (FG2) that works with her hair. Hope all is well and do let me know if you needmore information on the dress.

Dear MFG1,
Thank for the update. Have you been able to see any suitable material to send over? I have not seen anything like that here. I'm getting worried about the dress, as the days to the wedding are getting close. For all my brother's & sister's bridemaids & flowergirls, we arranged to buy the material here, and got all the measurements, and then got the tailor to do the dresses. That way, everything was uniform and it looked perfect! It costed us only RM75 per dress for the material & tailoring. It worked out well for all the 5 weddings.
I told Wedding Planner (WP) that I saw some very cute pink cotton smocking dress for flower girls in a shop here in Kuching. And it costed only RM60+! I’m sorry to be such a pain, but I really think that the dress in the US was way too expensive and it will only be used once. Becky said that thedress for Flower girl 1 (FG1) has been bought, so there's nothing we can do about that. So, I'm in a fix ... If I can't get anything by next week, I will get that pink dress for Claudine here.
As regards the tiaras, I think it's much cuter to have mini flower crowns in the girls' hair. That suits them very well. I'm glad we are doing away with the tiara as it seems a little too grown up for them, if you know what I mean. The tiara should be reserved for the most important lady of the day, the bride.
Regards,

Oh mother God! What the hell is happening here?

Hello MFG2,
Oh dear, you haven't started the dress yet? I'm sorry for the miscommunication but I have not been looking for material for you. I had emailed you a month back saying that shops here have very limited selection for fabric because people here don't use tailors, everything is bought ready-made so go ahead and look for material there. I have been to the cloth shops in Kuching and you have a huge selection there. It is just simple see-through material for the layers. I made sure I bought FG1's dress early on April 8th so you could have plenty of time to makeone for FG2! I also selected a simple style without decoration that could be easily reproduced. And I sent several photos with measurements, hope you got that email too.
WP did tell me about the cotton smocking dress you had seen but firstly I had already bought FG1's dress and it cannot be returned, and secondly cotton is not that elegant for a wedding. I didn't realize you were shopping for a dress, my understanding was that it was being made. With FG1's dress being white, don't you think FG2 should wear white too? We unfortunately can't do what you did for your brothers' and sister's weddings because we are continents apart. :)
With the wedding just one month away, time is running short. Do you feel this is a bit too much for you and you don't want to have to deal with it?
I know it is a lot of effort! I just managed this week to find dressy white shoes for FG1. Let me know your progress.
Take care,
MFG1
And then the bride, the bridegroom and the wedding planner received an email from MFG1:
just fyi....possible snagdelicately offering MFG2 an "out", poor thing.

Probably this is “my daughter is cuter than your daughter” game. To be honest, the bride doesn’t really like MFG1 choice of flower girl’s dress. She wanted PINK!!!!
The bride and bridegroom was laughing but don’t know what to say. And then, the bridegroom realized the only person who could help is the wedding planner.
They know what the problem is and they know some people just trying too hard.
“Sigh… this is so not necessary!” The bride said.
“I think you should just send wedding planner an email, tell her you want those girls to match.” The bridegroom suggest to the bride.
“OK.” It seems this is the suggestion ever.
And the email was sent.
