A Lazy Sunday Lunch

Getting married sometimes is also about making the key people happy. And the key people are always the parents. I know my dear friend Eunice first received the guests list from her parents it came up to 400 plus people to be invited.

So, to make everyone happy, you either go their way, or make them do it your way. So we told them how many seats they can have, as long as we are paying.

In honour of our parents (aka my parents in law), we had lunch for them in Merdeka Palace Hotel. It was a Sunday and we have 130 seats for their friends and some relatives. Surprisingly parents did not go against the idea

Since we don’t know 80% of the guests, we thought we could leave the going round for a cheers bit, reason being we have to get out of there in 2 and half hours :)

Lunch went well. I had 2 very dedicated bridesmaids for the day – Chyi and Rachel.
Merdeka Palace coordinator surprised us. All the waiters and waitresses dressed in tropical attire to suit our theme. I was so pleased.

Plus! We had the honey moon suit for 2 nights! Was that great or what?

The only down side was the return wasn’t as good as dinner…
