Good Star Bad Star

Alvin and I went to SFX sign up for CMPC (Catholic Marriage Preparation Course). This is the only we need to get it done if we want to get married in Church. I’m neither a Catholic nor Christian, but I don’t mind doing it.

The registration was easy, we learned if we are going to register here in West Malaysia Alvin may lose his identity as an East Malaysian.

It’s a well known fact that Sabahan and Sarawakian have special privileges at home. So for children sake, it is better to get register there so the future of the children is brighter blah… blah… blah…

Ok. We never know maybe one day we have lots of money and can afford a couple of children you see. So we though this is an interesting fact to be considered. I will not gain anything out of it but I shouldn’t affect what Alvin is enjoying now as a Sarawakian.

The lady told us an interesting story about a Malay couple came to see her wanted to sign up for CMPC. Of course the church doesn’t allow. How would you know if they are spy from some xx department to investigate blah… blah… so she told them they are not allow to join the course.

I’m not sure why this Muslim couple has the thought of doing it in the Catholic Church but it was a funny story.

When we left the office, we realized there’s a funeral going on in the church. And the car was blocked by many other cars, especially one bloody red Hyundai blocked a lane that can park at least another 3 cars.

We can’t tell the priest to ask the feller to move the car, the only thing we can do was wait.

It was a good half an hour and it was hot. Oh my Lord! Who was the owner of the red Hyundai? I wanna kill her (I assume it’s a she)!!!

So much of being the children of God… can’t even behave like a civilize people living on earth. I wonder how it is like in Heaven. They must have bad traffic planning.

God bless me for being bad, but I sure will behave myself in heaven.

Oh well, she must be devastated because somebody died, she had no time to look for parking anyway. So might as well block a few cars and auntie (the deceased) will understand.

We were in the church so we can’t curse so much and be angry or God may not bless us on our wedding.
Never mind. Alvin told me a few stories about him an alter boy because they does a few things that picked up my attention. Alvin, being a person hated the heat in the middle of afternoon, for once, he was happy.

We also talk about the good time and the bad time to get things done. Now we done the registration and there’s funeral and our car is blocking by some moaner. This is not a good time. Should have checked the position of the stars first, I said.

Alvin was happy that I’m thinking that way.

The course will not happen until March 2007, so now I have enough time to be get my dress done and his tuxedo rented. His sister in U.S. insisted him to wear a tuxedo.

“You are the groom, you have to be different.” Aileen, she is the mother of the flower boy and the flower girl.

Did I say flower boy? Oh. Her son Justine is 6 years old if I remember correctly were told to be a flower boy. He wasn’t very pleased but accepted the job. Anyway, he is the ring bearer, substitute as flower boy just in case there is no rings to bear.

Rachael, the flower girl is very cute. She will be the angel in the wedding. I can see her in the rosy pink dress and… anybody knows what’s the name of the hat, make with flowers that the Hawaiian girls wearing on their head?

Anyway, that was what we were talking about in the funeral.

2 traffic policemen came with their Harley bike. Wow! We know this is the funeral of the rich and famous.

Alright, the funeral is over and we waited 10 minutes for everybody to move their cars. I don’t know who owns the red Hyundai but it doesn’t matter anymore because we had a smooth exit.

Remember the 2 traffic policemen I mentioned? They took care of the traffic! We were so lucky.

Hmmm… looks like the position of stars wasn’t bad at all.
